HFG Attorneys Inc. was established in March 2018 after opening the doors in the winelands valley of Paarl, Western Cape. The company’s head office is based in Paarl, but assists its clients anywhere in South Africa when needed.
This law firm specialises in various areas of the law and works in association with Legally Armed Paarl (Pty) Ltd.

Heinrich Gonzales is an admitted attorney with the right of appearance in the High Court division of South Africa. He grew up in the winelands of Robertson where he matriculated, and thereafter obtained his LLB-degree at the University of Stellenbosch. He is also currently a serving member on the council of the University of Stellenbosch since 2016. During 2017, he also served as a member of the Institutional Forum at the University of Stellenbosch.
Since being admitted as an attorney, Heinrich obtained experience is various fields of the law. During his journey in the legal sphere, he was part of litigation teams and court proceedings against previous Minister of Police regarding issues relating to firearms in South Africa, litigation against various municipalities and the Department of Water and Sanitation regarding environmental issues such as pollution and non-compliance of legislation. Heinrich specialises in Firearm Law, Criminal Law, Family law and Civil Litigation in the High Court and the Magistrate’s Court.
As founding member and Director of HFG Attorneys, he also is Director at Legally Armed (Pty) LTD, operating the area of the Boland region.
Heinrich is a proud member of Roundtable Southern Africa, more specifically Roundtable Paarl 44, where their main aim is to serve the community through charity work and projects. As a previous SA hammer throw gold medallist, he was appointed to manage and coach the athletes at the Hammer throw Academy of Paarl Gymnasium High School.
Heinrich Gonzales is also an opinion writer for Maroela Media and Legally Armed HQ and performs as guest speaker at community/farming meetings regarding issues that effects firearm owners in SA.
Heinrich is also a proud member of SAGA (South African Gun Owners Association).
William Koch grew up in Malmesbury where he matriculated at Swartland High School in 2007. He then commenced his tertiary education at the University of Stellenbosch and obtained his BComm (Law) and LLB degrees in 2013.
William completed his articles at Terblanche Slabber and Pieters Inc. and was subsequently admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2016 after which he was appointed as a professional assistant at aforementioned law firm.
Since being admitted as an attorney, William has gained experience in various areas of the law which includes, but not limited to, Civil Litigation in the High Court, Regional Court and the Magistrate’s Court, Criminal Law, Family Law, Labour Law, Contract Law, Debt Collection, Debt Review, Administration of Estates, Drafting of Wills, Trust Law, Drafting of Contracts and agreements and also property transfers. Furthermore, William completed a certificate in Human Resource Management at the University of Stellenbosch Business School in 2019.
At HFG Attorneys Inc, William will be focused on the development and expansion of the commercial department which will ensure that the firm is a full-service firm to our clients.
When not in the office, William enjoys watching any sport and socialising with his friends and family. He also has a passion for coaching rugby and serving his community which subsequently led to his appointment as assistant coach for Swartland High School’s First Rugby Team for the period of 2016 to 2018.
